Students at London International Academy nearly completed the physical construction of the XYZ frame of a Farmbot in the 2014-2015 school year. The X, Y and Z axis were successfully tested. Additional work on the tools and water and air systems are still required. The MDF board out of which several key parts were cut has proven too weak and the gantry has broken several times as a result. There is a new STEM room opening at London International Academy. It is to be equipped with machines that will make metal working much easier. Accordingly, the pieces made out of MDF board will be replaced with aluminum. More updates to follow.
Our TEJ4M (Computer Engineering 12) class is now working on the Farmbot. More updates to follow.
